RoboJDE Licensing

RoboJDE provides flexible licensing options to provide affordable licensing to educational and hobby users.

Individual Users

If you are using RoboJDE for personal use on your own equipment, you simply need to purchase a one user license to use RoboJDE on any computer or robotics controller you own. In addition, you may allow other people to use the full version of RoboJDE on your computers with your robotics controllers, so your family won't be left out!

Educational Institutions, Clubs and Other Organizations

If you are an educational institution, club or other organization, you can choose to license RoboJDE per user or per robotics controller. This allows you to install and use the full version of RoboJDE on any computer you own or lease, provided you have purchased sufficient user or controller licenses to match your use of the product.

License Types

A full RoboJDE license is included with each IntelliBrain robotics controller. If you would like to use RoboJDE with a Handy Board or Sumo11 robotics controller you may choose to use RoboJDE Lite for free or obtain a full license to use all the capabilities of RoboJDE.

The following table lists the limitations imposed by each license type on the Handy Board and Sumo11 controllers.

* "Unlimited" means no fixed limit is imposed by the license. However, limits due to the capabilities of the hardware and the RoboJDE software still apply.
